Sabina Maharjan is a Clinical Psychologist. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from C.M.R College of Nursing- Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science in 2013. She completed her Master in Arts from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuwan University in 2016. She completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital, Institute of Medicine in 2020. She is currently working as the Clinical Coordinator/ Clinical Supervisor at Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Nepal (TPO Nepal). She is currently working in UNHCR / LWF project and UNCIEF. She has experience of psychological assessments and psycho-diagnostic tools with clients. She also has experience on translation and Adaption of the various tools (PAS) in Nepalese context. She mainly practicing psychotherapy in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with clients. She is a member of various professional organizations including Nepal Health Professional Organization. She has professional experience on clinical supervision to counselors, promotion of mental health and psychosocial wellbeing through sensitization community, developing various IEC materials, development of Public Service Announcement (PSA) on stigma and discrimination on mental health, many podcasts series on different vulnerable groups such as children and adolescents, disabilities, translate of global documents in Nepal, facilitated short term training on psycho-social issues to Health professionals, Co- ordinate with different level stakeholders and partner NGOs and INGOs. She also conducts regional and district level psychosocial advocacy workshops, different webinars (frontline workers). She has worked as a consultant for National and International non-government organizations such as Handicapped International, USAID, Care Nepal, Helen Keller International.
