Sunika Joshi, is a clinical mental health practitioner and social and cross-cultural psychologist, with over 7 years of work experience with clinical and non-clinical population. She is currently working at Mankaa Kura as Mental Health Counselor and trainer. She has worked with diverse beneficiaries such as refugees, children living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of human trafficking and domestic abuse, and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. She has also worked as an Assistant Psychologist in the Nation Health Service (NHS) in the UK in the Adult and Community Mental Health and Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) department. Her psychological interventions are based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Approach (PCT), and emphasis on sociocultural aspects of mental health problems. She graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, and is also an Erasmus and Chevening Scholar. She is also an avid reader and loves collecting books and exploring new places.
